Golf is a game that is entirely dependent on golf balls. A lot of improvements and changes in ball construction have resulted in much advancement in the game. There has been a lot of change today in comparison to the balls which were made thirty years ago. Golf balls these days' rolls longer, flies straight, travels farther and when you look at it wrong, it will not split its cover. Manufacturers these days can change everything from spin rates to trajectory with the use of dimple patters. Because of all this, golf players can now select and play the best ball for their games.
The size of these balls is 1.68 inches in diameter and it weighs not more than 1.62 ounces. Some time ago, people used to play with natural rubber ball which was soft and easy cut. There are mainly two types of golf balls which are distance balls and spin balls.
Spin balls do not provide a long distance but they provide good workability. They are three piece constructions. They are easier to fade or draw; they hold the green and spin more.
If there is less spin, then it means there will be less control and this can result in chances of stopping in particular areas. Normal golfers select distance balls as they provide distance and normal golfers do not have the ability to move the ball like professional people.
